With today's release of the new Holiday Elves Forever stamp, the U.S. Postal Service celebrates the tremendous efforts of all Christmas Elves. Seriously, what better place in the world to dedicate these stamps than the North Pole Santa's House? We don't think so either. Secretary of State Michael J Elston said: "The elves are hard at work here, preparing for the upcoming season, as are more than 650,000 Postal Service employees across the country. The Postal Service is proud of its role in providing holiday cards and packages." The Board of Governors of the Postal Service as a full-time officer. "We know these new stamps will make a perfect addition to our holiday cards." Holiday Elves stamps are tenants, which means they can work together as both a single scene and as individual images. Artist Don Clark first draws his designs and then creates the final illustrations digitally. Antonio Alcala is the artistic director. Santa's elves make toys, tend the reindeer, maintain the sleigh, manage the mail from the North Pole, and help Santa with a variety of other tasks. The mailroom is very large. The elves sort through the letters to Santa and make sure each one is read by the big man.
