Use the medium grit side of the nail file to shorten and shape your natural nails in back and forth motions 2. Once they are at the desired length and shape, switch to the fine buffing grit side of the nail file. Place the fine buffing grit directly on top of the surface of your nail. Buff in back and forth motions until a smooth, shiny surface appears 3. Repeat on all nails, wipe off any nail dust or rinse your hands 4.
